After becoming saved in 1987 He joined The Twelfth Baptist Church in Roxbury, MA under the Pastorship of Rev. Dr. Michael E. Haynes. He then made a life changing shift in career direction becoming a partner in the Gospel Music production team of “Burton and Battle Productions” engineering projects for many Gospel groups in and outside of Boston. Sidney Currently is also the Director of The Audio Visual Ministry at Twelfth Baptist Church responsible for the production of its weekly broadcast on BNN-TV3.

During a term with Bull Worldwide Information Systems in Billerica, Massachusetts he had the responsibility for writing an on-line help system for the call coordinators in the customer service department. Sidney currently provides P.C. based desktop and field services through his Sburton Services, a small company with a big vision.
